Melaka Is the Promised Land

Part 6: The Blessed Land

I am certain that you despise the Zionist Jews who seized Palestine and claimed themselves to be the modern state of Israel. I am also certain that you support the oppressed people of Palestine regardless of their denomination. I believe you nod in agreement.

But what if I told you that parts of our understanding today are actually aligned with the Zionist narrative without us realising it? What if all this time you have been a victim of a narrative engineered over hundreds of years? What if we have inherited an understanding that is slightly misaligned from what Allah Himself states in the Quran? What if they too have fallen into the deception of Dajjal?

These are major questions. To answer them, we cannot jump straight into Palestine and Zionism. We cannot defend any modern political territory without examining the verses of Allah. The issue is not whether we support Palestine. The issue is when we call Palestine a “blessed land” and a “promised land” even though Allah does not say so in the Quran.

You claim to believe in the Quran. You claim to defend the oppressed Palestinians. Yet at the same time you say Palestine is the blessed land and the promised land. If that is so, then what difference is there between you and the Zionists who claim the exact same thing?

Is this statement wrong? Or have we misunderstood what Allah actually says in the Quran?

This is why I am writing this series. My purpose is to reveal a major truth, that the majority of us are actually descendants of the original Bani Israel. The Jews who are there now are Bani Israel too, but they descend from a different branch. We come from another branch. We have intermingled with the descendants of Ismail, the descendants of Ishaq, the Romans and others, and that is a separate matter. What matters here is that this land, the Malay land, is the land promised to the original Bani Israel. The hanif religion held by some of our ancestors since the beginning shares the same roots as the tradition of the prophets of Bani Israel who were in the eastern lands.

To understand how this connection unfolds, we must return to the original point, which is how Allah designated the blessed lands at the moment the earth was created. Pay attention also to why Prophet Muhammad SAW said that al Mahdi will have a character like him yet will appear like the Bani Israel. How can someone resemble the Bani Israel, and at the same time be from the lineage of the Prophet, and at the same time come from the east?

The narrative of al Mahdi exists within the true history of Bani Israel that has been erased. It is embedded in the eastern land that Allah described as the land of inheritance after their enslavement. If we do not return to the Quran and do not return to the earliest point where the earth was first constructed, we will miss the fact that Allah had already determined which lands would be blessed and which lands would be left to run their course.

In other words, before the concept of a “promised land” existed for Bani Israel, there first existed the “blessed land” that Allah Himself designated during the creation of the earth.

The Six Phases of Creation

Allah did not create the universe randomly. Allah explains the order of creation in several verses that complement one another. Observe these three verses:

  1. Surah Qaaf 50:38

Indeed, We created the heavens and the earth and everything between them in six periods, and no weariness touched Us.

  1. Surah al A’raf 7:54

Indeed, your Lord is Allah who created the heavens and the earth in six periods, then rose over the Throne...

  1. Surah as Sajdah 32:4

Allah is He who created the heavens and the earth and everything between them in six periods...

When these verses are assembled, we discover three major components of creation:

  • Two phases for the creation of the earth (Fussilat 41:9)

  • Two phases for the creation of the heavens (Fussilat 41:12)

  • Two phases for what is between the heavens and the earth

This forms the complete six phases.

Designation of the Blessed Land

To understand what the blessed land is, we must focus on the first component, the creation of the earth.

Allah explains this in Surah Fussilat 41:9–10.

Say, do you truly disbelieve in the One who created the earth in two periods?

And He placed firm mountains upon it and He blessed it.

Here lies a profound secret revealed by Allah regarding mountains.

Phase 1: Mountains and Blessing

Fussilat 41:10 does not mention blessing in isolation. Allah arranges the verse with meticulous precision.

First, He constructs the foundation of the earth.
Then, He places the mountains.
Only after that He says:

وَبَارَكَ فِيهَا

And He blessed it.

This means that blessing does not occur before the mountains. Mountains are the primary sign of barakah.

Mountains are:

  • stabilisers of the earth’s crust

  • breakers of monsoon winds

  • collectors of clouds

  • centres of gravitational balance

  • reservoirs of underground water

  • the origin of river systems

  • regulators of microclimate

  • determinants of soil fertility

Thus, Allah made mountains a prerequisite for barakah.

If mountains exist, barakah can occur.
If the mountain system is absent, the land cannot be blessed.

This is why blessed lands always have mountain systems:

  • Makkah with the Hejaz range

  • The Levant with the Lebanon range

  • And the land of Saba’ in the east within ancient stabilised ranges

This is not a modern interpretation and not an attempt to alter the meaning of the verses. It is simply reading the Quran according to the order Allah Himself uses.

Phase 2: The Measured Systems of Earth

Allah continues:

And He determined its measures in four periods.

These include gravity, space, time, distance, velocity, lakes, rivers, minerals, soil composition, rainfall, day-night cycles, climate and every other law that governs life. These are not random phenomena but fixed systems that allow human life, the rise of civilisations and the missions of prophets.

Only Certain Lands Receive the Title “Blessed”

From the entire earth, only a small number of lands receive the divine title بَارَكْنَا “We blessed”.

They include:

  • the land surrounding Masjid al Aqsa

  • the land to which Allah brought Ibrahim and Lut

  • the land granted to Bani Israel in the east and the west

  • the land of Saba’ in the east and its surrounding cities

There are two layers of honour:

  1. lands blessed since creation

  2. specific cities later blessed due to prophetic missions

Conclusion

When we observe the structure Allah has revealed, it becomes clear that “the blessed land” is not a cultural title, not a political claim and not a historical construct. It originates from the moment of earth’s creation. It predates every nation, every prophet and every kingdom.

Blessing begins with mountains. Mountains shape rivers, stabilise climate, create fertile land, direct human migration and determine the path of prophets. Without mountains, there is no blessed land, no civilisations and no prophetic routes.

From all the earth, only four are named with بَارَكْنَا. They form a single framework of divine geography established at the beginning of creation.

But we must be cautious. The Quran never states that Ibrahim and Lut went to Palestine or the Levant. That idea came only from later interpretations. Surah 21:71 only mentions “the land We blessed”, not “Syam” and not “Palestine”.

If we follow the Quranic text, their migration must be to the original blessed land, one of the eastern clusters of barakah. This happened long before the Kaabah was built and long before Bani Israel existed, which means the blessed land referred to is in the east, rich, fertile, peaceful and filled with jannah-like features. This is the land that later became Saba’, the same land that received the descendants of Israel after their deliverance from slavery.

Thus the Quranic picture becomes clearer. Surah 21:71 is not a proof for Syam. It is evidence that Ibrahim and Lut were brought to a primordial blessed land set at creation, a land in the east and not the Mediterranean. If Allah intended Syam, Allah would have named it as He named Bakkah, Makkah, Tur Saina, Judiy, Babil and Aykah. The silence of the Quran regarding a place is not permission for us to assign it without proof.

And this brings us to the next crucial section, the two major clusters of blessed lands. We will explore how these clusters were defined at creation and why Musa chose the mashriq as the great migration route for the Children of Israel. It aligns perfectly with the pattern of barakah, for the eastern land is the inherited cluster after their rise from enslavement.
